I live in the Texas Hill Country with my roommate and dog, and working at a community mental health clinic and a homeless shelter. I have lived all over the United States and have also resided in England and Germany and finding myself living in the same area with stable work and an amazing support network still catches me by surprise!

I am neurodivergent and am learning daily the power that masking has had in my life. I am clean and sober and am in recovery for mental health as well. I am a member of the rainbow tribe and self describe as “queer”. There is a good chance that I own at least one Blåhaj lol! I am trying to not pick up new hobbies/interests at the same frequency I have for much of my life but I am currently focused on crochet, a bit of knitting, embroidery, and hardcore punk rock.

I have been living a new kind of life since 2015. A life where I attempt to learn about myself and others, but mainly myself. Intellectual knowledge, and the gaining of it, has never been my major challenge. My challenge has been to somehow fit that knowledge into the framework of a world and a life that does not make sense. And I don’t know that I will ever find sense but I do feel that I have the capability of finding acceptance.
